Leachate Extration Pump

The ATZ Leachate Extraction Pump is a simple, robust solution to landfill leachate problems. Our design philosophy was to engineer a base pump that allowed for substantial flexibility
in application depth, drive and flow options, all the while ensuring simplicity in installation
and maintenance.

 

The ATZ Leachate Extraction Pump is a positive-displacement piston pump that can be retrofitted into the existing gas well infrastructure. The pump can also be used for condensate knock-out chambers, whether under pressure or vacuum. The pump’s mechanical linkage converts the rotary motion of the DC electric motor to a reciprocating motion of the piston at the foot of the pump. This piston assembly is highly tolerant to particulate matter common in landfill fluids.  The pump is also available with a solar-powered drive system which eliminates the need for a source of electrical power at the gas well. Additionally, we also offer a manually operated drive option.

  • Electric - Our most popular drive option due to the long term operational cost advantage over pneumatic and flexibility in control options.

  • Solar - Driven by our low horsepower motor options (0.2-0.33 hp rating), our solar option has been well received in the field for remote wells and green initiatives.

  • Hand-Operated - Primarily selected for ground monitoring wells.

Two models of the pump allow you to select the appropriate pumping capacity for your application. Both are supplied with a variable speed drive that allows for fine tuning of the
pump flow rate and both models are quickly and easily interchangeable as circumstances change. Multiple seal sets ensure tight sealing throughout the assembly.
